Summer Camp Photo Contest

Ages 6 to 17 may enter.

The Palm Beach Photographic Centre is sponsoring a Summer Camp Photo Contest. Contest rules, prizes, and deadlines are posted below. The contest is free and open to anyone age 6 to 17 who has attended a summer camp and wants to participate. The contest images will be hosted on the Palm Beach Photographic Centre's Facebook page where contestants may vote for their favorites by "Liking" the images. Five images with the most "Likes" will then be submitted to Arnold Drapkin, former Photo Editor of Time Magazine, to pick the winner. The winner will win a two week FOTOcamp session for next summer, 2012. You must be between ages 6 to 17 next summer in order to attend FOTOcamp.

Grand Prize

The Winning Photographer will receive the prize of a free 2-week FOTOcamp Summer of 2012.

Contest Rules

1. Photographs must be shot at camp in the summer of 2011.
2. No entry fee required.
3. Participants must be age 6 to 17 may enter.
4. Number of entries: Each contestant can enter up to three photographs.
5. Entry information to be provided: contestant’s name, age and telephone number, address; camp name, email address in the form (Part 1) below.
6. Entry on line-Digital: Must have the contestant’s name as part of the digital file name, and all of the Entry Information in the digital file.
7. Visitors should vote for their favorites by "Liking" their favorites. The top 5 pictures from your votes will be judged by Arnold Drapkin, retired Photo Editor of Time Magazine. The judges’ decisions are final.
8. The top 5 photographs will be exhibited in the Palm Beach Photographic Museum  with an opening  reception on August 26th 5:30-7:30pm and the Winner will be announced and the prize will be awarded
9. The Winning Photographer will receive the prize of a free 2-week FOTOcamp Summer of 2012.
10. Deadline for entries is August 10th 2011.

Part 3: View Entries

The top 5 images will be sent to our judge, Arnold Drapkin, who will then pick the winner. Arnold is a retired photo editor for Time Magazine.
