Commercial fashion and glamour photographer Kevin Ames leads this three-day workshop of fine figure photography. The nude has been one of the classic themes throughout the history of photography. You will learn lighting, posing, working with figure models, composition, lens selection and more. You will make your own photographs under Kevin's expert guidance. Daily detailed critiques of your work will set the stage for the next day's shooting. After two days of photography, Kevin will help each member of the workshop select a strong photograph then help the class with retouching, body shaping and finishing techniques providing everyone with a wonderful photographic of the female form.
KEVIN AMES says "photography is life" and he has lived it. His career has included commercial photography, writing books on photographing women, Photoshop and Lightroom, a column (the Digital Photographer's Notebook) in Photoshop User magazine, teaching engagements across the country, in Canada, Europe and Asia. Through it all he maintains his studio in Atlanta, Georgia working with clients like A.T.&T., Westin Hotels and Honda Power Equipment. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Jezebel, Atlanta Sports and Fitness as well as on corporate websites, brochures and capabilities programs. He is currently writing Faces A Digital Retoucher's Guide to Photoshop.
