The difference between a “good” print and a compelling one is a series of creative editing decisions that affect the color, contrast and content of your image. This workshop is designed for digital photographers who yearn for powerful (but easy) post processing steps that will elevate their images and prints to a new level.

In this weekend workshop you’ll learn how to diagnose image flaws that can keep viewer at arm’s length. Then you’ll learn which Photoshop tools let you easily and effectively walk your image to a fine art print.

• See how Dan’s “diagnose and treat” methods speed you toward making images that are visually inviting with lush tonality and depth.
• Learn the parts of color management that are essential for creative photographers and inkjet printing.

Biography

DAN BURKHOLDER has a long history of looking over photography’s horizon to learn, use and teach the next great advancements in image making. Dan has been teaching digital imaging classes for 18 years on three continents and on several island countries. As a recognized artist and master printer, his inkjet and platinum/palladium prints are included in both private and public collections internationally.

Dan received both his B.A. and Master’s degrees in Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. His workshops are famous for their energy, information and humor.
