Description
Have you ever dreamed of taking portraits like the masters? This 3-day workshop with Harrison Funk will allow you to take your skill to the highest level. Working on location and in studio, Harrison will show you how to create the most dynamic images using both simple and advanced techniques and equipment. You will learn how great photographs are created not only through technical expertise but by understanding and communicating with your subject and the psychology of working with people in front of the camera. During this workshop we will discuss and critique the body of work that you are creating and show methods. You should have a strong background in photographic techniques and will most likely have either taken a prior studio class or had experience working in the studio.

Biography
Harrison Funk has been shooting music, film and fashion for more than 25 years. His subjects have been some of the most influential names in entertainment. As Michael Jackson’s personal photographer during the height of his career, Harrison created a vast body of work documenting the “King of Pop” onstage and off. His images have been published around the world including Time, LIFE, Rolling Stone, Paris Match, OK! and he has more than 100 record covers to his credit. Harrison was Creative Director of the UK-based BLINK! Magazine, which he helped found in 2003. He is presently working on a fine-art book project.
