Description

Light is the lifeblood of photography. By utilising it correctly you can change an ordinary snapshot into an amazing image. Join master shooter Harrison Funk in this intensive workshop in designed to give you an understanding of light, both natural and artificial, and how light can be controlled and manipulated, sometimes using the simplest of tools and techniques. You will learn about the way light is manipulated and discover some of the “tricks of the trade” that set apart the pros. We will explore lighting in the studio and on-location using a variety of tools including strobes, incandescent lights, and natural light with an emphasis on controlling light sources. Harrison will discuss and demonstrate some of the equipment that studio pros use and what would be the most effective for you, whether you are a "weekend warrior" or seasoned professional. Throughout the week you will experiment with light using live models and objects both in the studio and and on location. You will receive daily critiques of your class work.
