Description
Call them winners, call them keepers or just call them great photographs. They are the images that photographers strive to produce. The ones viewers will find appealing at the very least if not fascinating or even emotionally moving. Such pictures often rely on a critical mood, capture the influence of a particular ambience or present the subject in some dramatic fashion. In short, these are images in which the photographer moves beyond just recording a subject by extending the power of light and lens to make powerful visual statements. This seminar explores the specific methods and techniques that provide the means for such individual expression. Much of the material will be drawn from the recently published book: “The Kodak Art of Digital Photography: Mood, Ambience & Dramatic Effects,” by Joseph Meehan.
