Description

This three-day workshop will you the skills to enhance your portrait, fashion, glamour and commercial photography with the glitz of glamour. You will learn hands-on how to produce dramatic lighting with models on location, both indoors and outdoors using reflectors, grids, scrims, soft boxes, ring flash, fresnel flash lighting, California Sunbounce techniques, beauty dishes and the doublegrid method of lighting a model. You will be shooting at various locations including the beach to over-power the sun while properly lighting the subject. The workshop includes class-time for Adobe Photoshop post-production techniques plus lectures on how to make thousands of dollars with the private, on-location glamour market, portfolio review and critiques of images produced during the workshop. Rolando will show you the 2-minute method of “cleaning up” images in Adobe Photoshop while enforcing the value behind post-production of your photography.

ROLANDO GOMEZ (www.rolandogomez.com), a Lexar Elite photographer, transitioned from combat photography to glamour and beauty photography in 1999. He recently completed his first book, Garage Glamour™-Professional Digital Photography Techniques (Amherst media, April 2006) and his first DVD, Glamour Made Simple. Gomez packs audiences with his “flamour” (fashion & glamour) style of photography instruction, most recently as a Lighting Master at Photo Plus Expo and the Photo Imaging and Design Expo. He’s taught 57-consecutively sold-out glamour workshops from Mexico to Canada and is a contributing writer for Studio Photography & Design. Some of his credits include Parade, Playboy, Peterson’s 4-Wheel Drive & Off Road, Airman, Army Times, Soldiers and AOL/TimeWarner.
