An environmental portrait should attempt to show something of that person and perhaps a hint of his personality, whether it is done in his home or workplace . It can be fun, and not a laborious affair, for both the subject and photographer. Learn how to move past the easy shot & look for the exceptional moment and evocative image with this master photographer. He will challenge you to find and capture the 'essence' of the subject. Working with both available and controlled lighting, you will discover how to 'read' the light and use it to your best advantage.
You should know how to use Photoshop (an essential ingredient to making a good photograph in these digital times) and your digital camera. We will shoot in the studio and on location; with available light and focused light; with professional models and candid moments. Good portraits can be easy, whether your family members or an assignment.
