In this class you will learn how to capture great video and bring motion and sound to your photography. Rob Sheppard is the co-author of the Digital Photographer's Complete Guide to HD Video (Lark Books, 2011) and will guide you into this exciting new way to use your camera. Learn how video and photography are different ... and the same. Discover what you need to know about everything from shutter speed choices to shooting to really cover a subject and its story. During field trips and class work, you will learn what you need to know to handle your camera while shooting video. And you will learn the basics of video editing.

Biography

ROB SHEPPARD is a photographer, videographer and the author/photographer of over 30 books, as well as a well-known speaker and workshop leader. He was the long-time editor of the prestigious Outdoor Photographer magazine and helped start PCPhoto (Digital Photo). Presently he is editor-at-large for Outdoor Photographer. Sheppard has written hundreds of articles about photography and nature, plus books including the Magic of Digital Landscape Photography, the Digital Photographer's Complete Guide to Shooting HD Video, and Top Tips Simplified: Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
