Description
Intended for advanced amateur photographers and digital photo-enthusiasts of all skill levels and experience, this one day workshop will teach you how to get the best possible prints from the pictures you take and images you scan. Through live presentations, demonstrations and hands-on practice you will learn the steps necessary to produce fine quality printed pages from various paper stocks and textures to get more than what might be obvious from a simple machine. Your digital prints will be outstanding as you benefit from our staff’s printing mastery. Please bring a CD with some of your images, so that you can make some prints.
Biographies
BOB McKAY Has been teaching workshops at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre for over 6 years. He has been involved in photography for over 20 years as a portrait and landscape photographer and worked for 10 years at different National Parks including Yellowstone, Everglades, Big Bend, Zion, and Grand Canyon. Bob is currently the digital lab manager at the Centre and over the past 8 years has assisted in over 60 master classes in photography and digital imaging.
Fatima NeJame, executive director and, with her husband Art, co-founder of the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, has taught digital camera technology and Photoshop since 1992. An expert in digital imaging, she has been working with computers since 1969. Fatima has been photographing exclusively with digital cameras for many years, and is a highly qualified instuctor and dynamic lecturer.
