A hands-on workshop where you learn how to control digital photography from the camera to the computer. Equipment, software and techniques for successful digital photography will be covered. We will cover all the basic concepts of digital photography, including: digital camera features, proper set-up, pixel resolution for different end uses, file formats, the advantages of RAW files, digital ../media, storage devices. You’ll also learn how to color correct and manipulate your images, as well as how to set up your pictures for e-mail and/or printing. If you already have a digital camera, please bring it with you, along with all the cables that came with the camera, the software and the manual. If you don’t have a digital camera, you can use one of the Centre’s Canon SLR or point and shoot digital cameras. Class is limited to 8 participants.
