Geographic Images by 22 International Artists March 25 to May 26, 2017 Public is Invited to FREE Opening Reception on Friday, March 24, 6 to 8 pm (West Palm Beach, FL – March 7, 2017) Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced the nonprofit organization’s next international exhibition: PHOTOGRAPHY OF PLACE March 2 to May 6, 2017 "Curated by Raymond Merritt, this stunning exhibition will present photographs by 22 different artists that are best known for their images of specific geographic places,” says NeJame. “The photographers range from grand masters to accomplished amateurs and as diverse as the places they capture on film." The artists from all over the world featured in PHOTOGRAPHY OF PLACE include in alphabetical order: + Eugène Atget was a French photographer noted for his determination to document all of the then existing architecture and street scenes of Paris before their inevitable disappearance due to modernization. + Fern Berman studied photography at the Art Institute of Boston and the New York School of Visual Art. Her abstract images of place focus on the color and patterns found in her neighborhood. Her images luxuriate in color and texture; their density and saturation achieved by printing on watercolor paper. + Christian Buhl is a freelance photographer based

2 Sessions July 18-19, 2017 July 21-22, 2017 August 11-12, 2017   This class is a great choice for those who have master the skill of a great exposure and are looking for more advanced techniques. In this class we will go further into techniques like: - using RAW files - dragging the shutter - HDR - panoramic images and image stitching - digital workflow using Photoshop & Lightroom Various field trips will allow you to capture images while practicing these techniques so that you can take to the next level. We will work with programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to review, edit and enhance your photos while creating a step by step workflow.
