  Portraits -  4-hour Taking Better Pictures series   October 4, 2018 In this Take Better Pictures course you will learn the tools and techniques that will increase your ability to take captivating portraits. They say, “a photograph is worth a thousand words,”  yet you find yourself with lacklustre portraits only worthy of a few sentences. Spend a day in our studio learning how to create a portrait that speaks to your audience. You will be shown lighting techniques that will give your portraits a voice. The teacher will demonstrate how to position your model so that you can capture the most flattering and intriguing angles. You will be equipped with the knowledge needed to capture someone’s personality in a photograph. Whether you just finished the Intro to Digital SLR Camera workshop, are looking to build on or sharpen your skills, or are looking for a new challenge, this class is sure to push you to expand your knowledge of photography.   You will need to bring your Digital SLR Camera, Lens, Memory Card, Charged Battery, Tripod (optional) and Camera Manual (if you have it).
