Three Day hands-on In-Person PBPC class

In this 3 day intensive class, award-winning author Jack “Wow” Davis will walk us through the current state-of-the-art capabilities of our omnipresent “creative partner”: our beloved iPhone! Jack will start with pro shooting tips while we’re “out in the field” together (including night shots, macros, slow-shutter, portraits and panos), taking advantage of multiple different apps to best serve whatever story we’re wanting to tell.

Next, moving onto the best tools and techniques for squeezing the very best color, tone and detail from each shot; with an emphasis on automating the enhancing process wherever possible – including by creating our own mind-bendingly useful Adaptive Presets in Adobe Lightroom!

Then comes retouching and restoring our photos directly on our phones or tablets – which, with the advent of the miraculous new batch of automated AI tools available on mobile devices, is making even professional desktop retouchers envious!

And finally Jack will cover the integration of our mobile photography into our desktop workflow – from going back and forth between mobile and standard versions of Lightroom and Photoshop, to using amazing 3rd party software like Topaz Photo AI to enlarge, sharpen and make monster prints our masterpieces!

Refunds and Cancellations

For workshops at the Centre, all deposits will be refunded IN FULL if a workshop is canceled. If you decide to withdraw from a workshop, please inform us at least 30 days before the first day of class; we will refund your deposits, less a $100 withdrawal fee. Our obligations to the professionals who teach at the Centre dictate that no refund of payments will be made to you if you do not notify us of your withdrawal 30 days before the start of the workshop (120 days for travel workshops). In the event that a replacement is found to fill your vacant space, all payments, less the withdrawal fee will be refunded. No refund of fees will be made for no-shows or for withdrawal after the workshop begins. Membership fees are non-refundable.
