Students will meet at the Centre to review techniques that might be helpful for the upcoming location shoot. Before heading out to Blowing Rocks Preserve, students will have the opportunity to practice their photography skills by photographing the crashing waves and geysers that form against the craggy Anastasia limestone, that makes this beach so special. With high tide expected to be around noon, it should be a perfect day to capture the amazing geysers that can reach as high as 50 feet.
Adventure and the Everglades are closer than you think!
This one day workshop is an opportunity for your child, ages 9-17, to join our staff photographer for a trek out to West Palm Beach’s famous Grassy Waters Preserve. Our staff will teach your son or daughter all areas of nature photography from the basics of image-taking to adding creative techniques such as fill-flash.
Back in the classroom, students will receive a critique of their work, plus create a portfolio of their best photographs. Our staff will help your child capture dramatic nature images, and make sure he or she has a great time doing it!
