Description

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of your digital SLR (single lens reflex) camera. This class for beginners will cover equipment, software and techniques for successful digital photography.

We will review all the basic concepts of digital photography, including:
-Digital camera features
-Proper set-up
-Pixel resolution for different uses
-File formats
-Advantages of RAW files
-Digital media storage devices
-Downloading your files to the computer

During the class we take a short field trip to practices some of the techniques and topics covered in the class.  Please make sure to bring your camera, a charged battery, your manual (if you have it) and a memory card.
