Albert Watson is one of the world’s most successful and prolific photographers, blending art, fashion and commercial photography into stunning images. In this class we will go further into techniques like: - using RAW files -dragging the shutter -HDR -panoramic images and image stitching -Digital workflow using Photoshop & Lightroom Various field trips will allow you to capture images while practicing these techniques so that you can take to the next level. We will work with programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to review, edit and enhance your photos while creating a step by step workflow. Architectural Photography in the Digital Realm
with Jeffrey Totaro Feb 21-25, 2017 9:30am - 5:30pm Description Explore the art and craft of architecture and interiors photography in the digital realm with photographer Jeffrey Totaro. The traditional means of shooting architecture with film and a view camera have evolved into digital capture. Explore the new methods of problem solving that digital allows. Is lighting still necessary? What's a good digital workflow? What Photoshop techniques are useful to architectural photographers? In addition to these new techniques, we will cover the essence of architectural photography in regard to composition, working on location, time of day, and lens choices. In this five day workshop we will spend most of our time out shooting on various locations near the workshop, in addition to lectures, demonstrations of various topics and techniques and critiques of work produced on location. Bring samples of your work for review. Biography JEFFREY TOTARO began his career as an architect and structural engineer. Having a life-long interest in building design and construction it only seemed natural to pursue a career in architecture and engineering. During his education and professional work, he was developing a strong interest in photographing architecture and interiors.
