Photoshop for Photographers Mickey Strand 4 Sessions November 9, 11, 16, & 18, 2021 - 4:00 - 6:00 pm EST This class is geared for anyone who wants to work on images in Photoshop. You don’t have to have any Photoshop experience. You must have the application installed on your computer and have launched the application. (Follow this link for a free Photoshop trial) The class will meet in 4 sessions, for 2 hours each session. Please allow additional time in your schedule if the class gets interactive and goes over time. This is a Photoshop Soup-2-nuts, (2hr) lesson each week for 4 weeks. Each lesson will be broken down into three 15-20 min lessons (this is the watching part of the show and tell). Each of these lessons will be Followed by a 15-20 min Demo/Do’s (this is where you launch the app and follow along). there will be one short break and a 15 min Q/A period included in each session. Some of the sessions will focus on demonstration and definitions but there is always time for you to demonstrate what you have learned. Cost $165.00 Description The Palm Beach Photographic Centre is holding a workshop to help prepare those students who are interested in auditioning for Digital Media (Photography) at the prestigious Dreyfoos School of the Arts. As well as receiving numerous awards and having impressive alumni, Newsweek recently ranked Dreyfoos 40th out of 500 of the top high schools in the nation. There are not many positions available in the Digital Media department for incoming Freshman, so if you are interested in attending Dreyfoos, this class will be a vital tool in increasing your chances of acceptance. This class will be a mock audition for the Digital Media department, taught by a current Dreyfoos student, along with a professional, experienced photographer.
