January 21 – 22, 2020
2-day workshop with 1-hour lunch
Workshop price includes the Zoo and Sanctuary entrance fee of $25 and $35 ($60 total).
A two-day workshop like no other.
If you’ve already taken Intro to DSLR and Photo 101 or the equivalent, then you’re ready for this amazing series.
Test your skills and try new techniques in this up close and personal wildlife experience. Encounter animals in a comfortable and safe setting—take a photograph of unrivaled closeness. You won’t need to go on a safari to see these creatures!
Be sure to bring with you photographs you have already taken! You’ll meet at the Centre for a brief morning introduction where you’ll review your photography in a critique setting. Feel free to discuss issues you’re encountering, effects you’re having trouble mastering, and concepts that you may have not yet explored. Then you’ll be off to the Palm Beach Zoo.
You will meet once again at the Centre to review your work from the day before. You will learn how to select your strongest images, and compare your work from the previous day’s photo shoot and see how you’re growing as a photographer. Then you will head out to McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary to fine-tune your new skills.
This is a great way to engage with other photographers, learn, and grow—while having fun!
For workshops at the Centre, all deposits will be refunded IN FULL if a workshop is canceled. If you decide to withdraw from a workshop, please inform us at least 30 days before the first day of class; we will refund your deposits, less a $100 withdrawal fee. Our obligations to the professionals who teach at the Centre dictate that no refund of payments will be made to you if you do not notify us of your withdrawal 30 days before the start of the workshop (120 days for travel workshops). In the event that a replacement is found to fill your vacant space, all payments, less the withdrawal fee will be refunded. No refund of fees will be made for no-shows or for withdrawal after the workshop begins. Membership fees are non-refundable.
ONE DAY SEMINAR FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
